You can't do the right job on today's sophisticated marine engines without the proper equipment. At Isle of Palms Marine, we call it The Three T's: Talent, Technique, and Tools. And we have a lot of all of them. Our commitment to Mercury, for example, requires annual expenditures on the specialized equipment their engines require, along with updates to their Computer Diagnostic System (CDS) and the newest diagnostic software, G3. Mercury requires all tools be inventoried on their unique point-of-use visual indexing system, which has grown to nearly one half of a wall in our shop. This system keeps the right tool for the job quickly identifiable, within easy reach.
